What this page does

The Organization page is for your org's own metadata — name, contact info, address — plus a read-only summary of how many Centers you can enable. Changes here only affect display and billing / admin metadata; they don't move data around.

This is a "look, don't touch" page for most teams once it's set up: complete it during onboarding, then revisit only when something fundamental changes (rebrand, address change, new ownership).

Why each field matters

FieldWhere it shows up
Organization NameSidebar header ("Managing — Acme"), invoices, sign-in screens, audit log entries.
SlugThe <slug>-kb.wazzi.io assigned domain, internal URLs, system identifiers. Read-only for a reason — changing it would break links.
DescriptionInternal-only; shown in admin tools and on the org switcher.
Email / Phone / WebsiteCustomer-facing — invoices, partner agreements, KB footer.
AddressTax / regulatory paperwork, invoices, vendor contracts.
Products & LimitsRead-only — set by your Wazzi administrator. Tells you the cap on simultaneously-enabled Centers.

Steps

1. Click Settings → Organization in the sidebar.

About

Top of the page. Edit your Organization Name and Description. The Slug is read-only.

Organization Settings — About section

Why is the Slug read-only? Because it's baked into your assigned KB domain (<slug>-kb.wazzi.io), your MCP URLs, and a bunch of internal references. Changing it after the fact would break every link, every bookmark, every saved MCP config. If you really need to change it (e.g., post-rebrand), contact your Wazzi administrator — it's possible but not self-serve.

Contact and Products & Limits

Below About, you'll see the Contact section (email, phone, website, full mailing address) and the Products & Limits summary.

Tax / regulatory implications. The address you put here is used on invoices for tax purposes. If your business has a separate billing entity, use that entity's address — not your shipping address.

The Products & Limits card is read-only. To request a higher limit, contact your Wazzi administrator using the email shown in the card.

2. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes to commit edits, or Reset to revert.

Troubleshooting

  • Save Changes is greyed out. Nothing has been edited. Make a change first.
  • Address validation fails. Some fields (Country, Postal) have format expectations. Check for stray spaces or invalid characters.

Best practices

  • Keep the org name aligned with what's on your invoices. Saves accounting headaches.
  • Use a billing-specific email for the Email field (e.g., billing@yourcompany.com) — separate from a generic info@ inbox so finance notifications go to the right place.
  • Lock down who can edit this page. Permission: Administration → Settings → Organization. Most orgs grant this only to founders / ops leads. See Managing Permissions.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the org's owner?
Not from this page — there's an explicit ownership transfer flow. Contact your Wazzi administrator.

Can I have multiple billing addresses (e.g., for different subsidiaries)?
Not from a single org. Use separate Wazzi orgs per legal entity if your billing is split.

What's next

  • Need a higher product limit? Use the email shown in the Products & Limits card.
  • Restrict who can edit this page: Managing Permissions → Administration → Settings.
